Where Do You Wish Starwood Had A Presence?

Where do you travel that you're not able to stay in a Starwood hotel?

A few places for me:

Springfield, MO - I go here several times per year to visit family and friends, and there's nothing within about 200 miles. I'm really surprised by this, as Springfield is the third largest city in Missouri and the metropolitian area (about 425,000 people) is about the 150th largest in the country. Springfield is home to many large corporation and has a quickly growing economy.

Santa Barbara, CA - I go here once a year and usually end up staying at the Four Points Ventura Harbor, which is about 30 miles away.

Jamaica - One of my favorite vacation spots.

I used to say Austin, TX and Knoxville, TN and Asheville, NC - however they recently fixed that (^ for SPG).

A few random places I've wished for over the years:
  • Tri Cities, TN
  • Tri Cities, WA
  • Central CA Coast (Santa Barbara all the way up to Monterey) could probably use 2+ properties
  • Oakland/Shadyside area of Pittsburgh, PA (near all the universities)
  • West Ireland (Kerry, Galway, Shannon etc.)
  • Genoa, Italy (in town, not near the airport)
  • Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore area in SD

Downtown Windsor, ON

Not interested in crossing the border (especially these days) for a *wood hotel.

The Ventura Harbor 4Points is great for location, but that's all.

Santa Barbara is too great a location to not have a *wood property. There used to be a Sheraton across the street from the beach on Cabrillo Ave.

Yep, love the location and the price is right. The drive from there to Santa Barbara is incredibly enjoyable, with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The hotel isn't anything special, but it's functional and has free Internet if I remember right.
