Abuse from a member airline employee
How much does Star alliance take into consideration the level of customer serivce a member airline may or may not give? At the moment there is a situation with Avianca and a Venezuelan passenger where the Avianca manager abuses the passenger by giving him the finger and pushing him trying to get his phone as well as threatening to have him arrested. There is a video where the manager uses explicit and derogatory language towards the passenger. My question is does SA take any of this into account? are there any level of internal reviews?
best wishes

Star Alliance is a marketing entity, not a regulatory body.
Whatever complaint has to be directed to the airline, or to the police.

Exactly. In theory, the *A membership could "vote" to toss a member carrier out of the Alliance, but that will not happen.
If you are upset with an employee, complain to the employer. If an individual commits a violation of law, complain to the relevant authorities.
On the other hand, if the words "Star Alliance" are not in the proper font on the lounge door, you should immediately complaint to *A and something will assuredly be done about that !
