At the risk of this counting as a cross posting, and with all due credit to cmcbugg for the actual post, I thought it worth pointing this out here since the "Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs" thread can be a bit obscure:

cmcbugg posted about an upcoming JNB//EZE route on SA. Original post is here. Will open up a lot of new options for RTW tickets.

All that's missing now is a TPAC in the Sourthern Hemisphere.

JNB-GRU doesn't count?

Actually "moribund" more likely these days - at least as far as SA news goes. cmcbugg's post was the first bit of excitement we've had in a while - got our knickers quite damp, did that bit of news.

Good luck using UA miles on it in any premium cabin.
