Star RTW Rules?

Has the rule that Canada+USA is one country for the purposes of RTW tickets changed? Can I start a RTW trip in the US and end it in Canada? I'd be grateful if some-one could tell me or give me a link to up to date rules for RTW ex-North America. Thanks.

Yes, that's correct. It changed quite some time ago - probably a year, if not longer.
Some posters have reported they get around it by adding the shortest Canada-USA (or v.v.) they can find and then don't fly the last segment, or leave it open dated as it's good for one year from first date of travel and one never knows when one may have to fly somewhere in a hurry!

Thanks! That's a pain. I was trying to start in the US to take advantage of the cheaper price. I'll just add a short leg ex-YYZ to ROC and throw it away.
