PHL to Delhi using *A and miles
 

Hi, new user to FT --
I have preferred status on USAirways but would like to use *A to fly to New Delhi next December (busy time) using miles. What's best way to find out when seats become available, which airline to use, etc? Would appreciate help from savvy traverlers. THANKS!

Most of the carriers open up their flights for sale about 330 days prior to flight date, although there are exceptions.
As for best carriers to use etc, a more learned answer will depend on what US FF rules permit. It's a bit pointless giving all the trans-pacific options if US will only allow you to route through Europe as example.
It may be worthwhile to find out what routing options they will allow you then the blanks can be filled in as to best options over that routing.
