RTW stopover question
As far as I know, only one stopover is allowed in any one city during a *RTW-trip.
Is the following combination allowed: ....-PEK - BKK (stopover) - HAN (overland to BKK) then BKK - SIN - .... In short, does the overland leg from HAN to BKK count as stopover in HAN, in BKK or in both (should it count as stopover in BKK, I assume it would not be allowed, given that there have already been a stop before the flight to HAN)? Many thanks |

If you wanted to spend more time in BKK on the second trip, a workaround would be to take a cheap flight to Chiang Mai (or Vientiane, if your mileage is very tight) and then CNX-xBKK-SIN (or VTE-xBKK-SIN). CNX adds about 200 miles to your total, VTE only about 10, though the latter might potentially involve visa costs.
