RTW date changes
 

On StarA level One I can make date changes.
But I have to rely on my travel agent to do this.
If I try and do it on my own there is a 50/50 chance
that the airline will charge me a date change fee.
Any thoughts on this??

If you are just changing the date, I don't think you need to go through your travel agent. Just deal with the airline direct. I did it all the time.

If you want to change a date after the ticket has been written but before your 1st flight, some airline personnel will refer you back to your TA. If they do, or if they want to charge you a fee, then use the FlyerTalk cure-all: hang up and call back.

but in So. Amer. they make the passenger
come into the ticket offices to check the
paper ticket and put a sticker on it.
I just got back from making a connection
from BCN to FRA to EZE on LH. and I did
go to the ticket office at the BCN(Barcelona)
airport and had stickers put on the LH. sectors.
Things went smooth.
