Partly Interline baggae?

Hi,

i have a question.
I have a flight on OS in november to KIX .
3hours later i am flying to bkk.

i want to leave one bag in KIX but interline the other piece to TG.

is it possible to tell them to interline one piece to bangkok and the other will be picked up at KIX ?

the other way i want to fly from BKK to KIX and leave my golfbag in bangkok, is this possible on TG ?

maybe different airlines have different policies on this?

i dont want to checkin my baggage at KIX /BKK again.

all travel is OS and TG , LH .

Let me get this straight: VIE-KIX-BKK and you want to leave one bag behind in KIX? I don't see a problem with this. Just that you have to go get your bag, get it through customs and immigration, do whatever you want with it (drop it off with a friend or long term baggage), and run back airside.

How do you want to fly from BKK to KIX but leave your golf bag in BKK? Is there supposed to be a connection in there somewhere?

well

sorry i wasnt clear.

KIX-BKK-VIE
VIE-KIX-BKK

that is the routing.

so on the way to bkk i want to drop the bag at the hotel, as i have plenty of time. get a massage and than board my flight midnight.
return i want to give the bags to my friend who is waiting in the airport in kix.

Are you staying at the Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport? If so, then I don't really see a problem with the semi-interlining of baggage. However, my bigger question is "will they even accept your baggage?" since you won't be staying there (or will you be returning back to KIX the same day?). And if you're not staying there, I think you won't be able to do it since the airport is basically on an island and I can't think of any other hotels immediately in the vicinity.

And I wouldn't say 3 hours is "plenty" of time. You'd be surprised how long it can take to get through immigration, especially if there's only two people staffed. And on the way home, since you're meeting up with a friend, that should be no problem at all.

i will sent or give the baggage to my friend in the airport. and go back through security directly.

the only question is if they let me interline one piece and let me take the other pcs at bkk for example .
