*a Nrt-syd
Hi all,
I just found out that *A has no really convenient overnight connection from NRT-SYD. This is pretty surprising to me, wouldn't one think that this route has too much of a volume to be left to Qantas & JAL? Anybody flown this route on * overnight? If so, what routing would you suggest? (should be able to stay in Tokyo as long as possible and arrive in Sydney as early as possible the next morning). There's a UA,SQ mix option through SIN...... Cheers, A. |

There are lots of routes that one alliance or other doesnt serve.
BTW it isnt an extra 10 hours over direct. QF22 NRT-SYD dep 2035 arr 0700+1 (so OZ/OZ an extra 5 hours trip time) QF60 NRT-SYD dep 2125 arr 0950+1 (so OZ/OZ an extra 3 hours trip time) |
You could wait for NH to resume its direct services on this route, but you may be waiting much longer than overnight. :p
