BLR - SFO on J Class, What are my options, no ex-CMB
 
Last year I did 6 BLR-SFO tripes through CMB (UL to CMB, then SQ to SFO), J Class was around 2200 USD (1750 SQ and 450 UL).

The politics in CMB seems tense these days so I want to skip CMB, what are my options. Flying BLR-SFO on SQ is around 5500.

I am thinking of flying to BLR-BKK on Coach and then Flying to SFO from BKK on J.

Any ohter options ?

The price you gave seems high for J out of CMB. SQ one way is 1100 I thought, or are you talking return price (which then is 2200)
There is one option: go through BKK. There are moderately priced one ways to SFO. OZ, DL and KE have one way fares for less than 1000$.
TG can get you to BKK in J for 650$ or so.
All in all you should come to 1550$.

Sorry, the 2200 I pay is BLR-CMB-SFO-CMB-BLR. It comes to around 2250 and my travel agent in Canada does the ticketing. I have not travlled this year so I dont know what is the going prices are.

Where can I find good BKK to SFO / LAX J fares
