SAA Question
 
I am headed to CPT in November and I was wondering whether there was any chance that SAA would be a member and I could earn miles by then?

SAA will be in Star in early 2006.

I read before it would be before 2006, sometimes in september or october. I cannot find it, but I hope for you they will earn on aeroplan by then.

Cape Town's Argus newspaper quoted SAA as saying that they would join *A around March 06. The reason for the delays was stated as IT upgrades that are required before joining. All things being equal I don't see them holding even that date....

I don't know however if SA would allow accrual of status miles etc. before that date?
