Lounges at NRT

I have a 3-hour layover at NRT tomorrow and am wondering if there are more than one *A gold lounges to choose from and which would be the nicer one in that case. Thanks.

The United RCC is a very large lounge that offers showers, snacks, and wifi. Depending on when you'll be in NRT, the SQ SK lounge is also an option, however it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the RCC. The SQ SK lounge is much smaller, but has better food offerings. The SQ SK lounge has 4 PC's connected to the Internet. There are no showers or bathrooms in this lounge, but the bathrooms are right outside of the lounge.

Thanks. Great info! After JFK-NRT in Y I think a 15 min walk will feel nice. :)

What flights are you on (into NRT and connecting to)?

There are 2 terminals at NRT which are security controlled (ie cant freely switch between them back and forth). Depending on the carrier of your flights you may not have access to RCC or SilverKris lounges. Also the lounges operate different opening hours related to their flight times.

UA and SQ operate from one terminal, NH TG and OZ operate out of the other.

For example if you are arriving on UA and connecting to NH then as transit pax you wont have access to terminal with RCC (other than the passage to the airside bus to change terminal).

I'm on UA all the way: JFK-NRT-HKG

Also, NRT SQ|SK lounge has food, in case you are hungry for sushi or noodles ;) With 3 hours, I would probably eat at SQ|SK and shower/wi-fi at UA|RCC. It's quite a walk between the two though and SQ|SK's opening hours may not suit you.

Are the opening hours posted somewhere? I get in at 3:30 pm and depart again at 6:45 pm.

I just got back from NRT. We dilly-dallied around in the RCC for a good while using the free WiFi. We got hungry, so shuffled down to the SQ lounge (maybe we walk fast: took us 6 minutes). It was 6:25PM, and the last SQ flight of the day was in final boarding. We got up to the lounge (on the second floor of the satellite) and it was deserted. The lounge attendant was in the final stages of cleaning up the food and drinks. She looked at us in horror when we walked in, assuming the worst: that we had missed the last SQ flight somehow.

Needless to say, we didn't stay long.

Hours posted said it closed at 6:30PM, if I remember correctly.
