In Portugal ist es ein offenes Geheimnis: Seit März sondiert TAP Air Portugal den Beitritt zur Star Alliance. Jetzt bestätigt auch die Lufthansa, dass dieses Ansinnen auf Gegenliebe stößt. „Aus Sicht der Lufthansa wäre die TAP ein idealer Partner“, sagt Konzernsprecher Klaus Walther. „Es würde mich nicht wundern, wenn das Thema TAP auf dem bevorstehenden Jahresgipfel der Star Alliance Anfang Juni in Singapur auf der Tagesordnung stehen würde.“
