Award travel using Thai mile
 

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything related to my question. Anyway, I am trying to book an Star Alliance award ticket from US-Asia with Thai miles. According to Thai website.

It will cost me 125,000 miles to redeem a business class reward to Asia. I could not find the reward table with partner airlines on Thai or Star Alliance website. I am wondering if there is an official Star Alliance award table?

For my next question, I am wondering if I can check the avaliability of award ticket online? ....rather than having to call Thai airway itself.

For business class, it would be 70K-95K depending on where in Asia.

Oh! There is no way to check Star Awards availability online. You would need to call TG.

When redeeming miles you need to use the T&C from the airline you're redeeming your miles from. Costs and restrictions vary on each *A carrier.

I don't think there's any on-line engine that would verify award availabilty on *A carriers, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the reply. I am wondering if I can redeem a one way reward ticket? Do I just devide the roudtrip miles by 2?

Go ask in the Thai forum. Seriously, this stuff varies from carrier to carrier. The * forum is not the right place for this.

According to the TG website (link below) Star Awards are for round-trip travel only.
