Star Alliance's FFP's Partner Airlines

Thought it may be useful to have a reference for partner airlines for the various Star Alliance frequent flyer programs. I guess the key info of use is whether miles are earned, qualifying miles / status credits earned and ability to use awards.

Since all *A carriers are automatically partners I wont include them here. Some restrictions may apply (eg codeshares/routes) so check the FFP for more definitive status.

Key:
Earn - miles for flying
Status - counts towards elite status
Award - can burn miles on awards
For Miles and More only - H counts towards HON status, B earns status bonus for those who are eligible

Link to post in reverse - for flown airline what *A FFP can you use?

Brilliant work Kiwi Flyer.. ^ :-:

I think its time for another sticky thread. :)

mith May 13, 2004 6:49 am

you should add the limitations, like
Quantas on US only for flights between US and AUS
CSA on M&M only for flights between DE and CZ
...

You are right but exceptions and particular cases are too much to be written in a post.
i suppose the best way to complete this work is preparing a tab (e.g. xls table.... if someone help me, i could provide a webpage to publish table...

a sort of comparative table such as the *A FFGOLD benefits, reported in other thread...

You earn status point when flying Air Baltic, Blue1, Braathens, Estonian Air, Skyways and Wideroe.

Please note that you dont earn points on all QF and FI operated routes.

"You earn Extra points on all Qantas and Qantaslink routes, except on flights from Melbourne/Sydney to Auckland/Christchurch, Sydney to Buenos Aires and on flights to/from Europe."

"You earn Extra points on Icelandair flights between Copenhagen/Oslo/Stockholm and Reykjavik. You also earn Extra points on flights between Reykjavik and Boston, Minneapolis, Orlando and Washington."
