LAX-CDG. Which lounge using AA redemption?

I’ve booked a flight going to Paris from Los Angeles at the end of this month. I used American Airlines points to book on Air Tahiti Nui in business class. 57K per seat.

I don’t fly a ton. So I guess the questions are which terminal and airline do I check in at? And which lounge do I have access? AA flagship in terminal four or star alliance in Bradley?

Thanks!

Neither AA nor TN is a Star Alliance carrier, so I'm not sure why you posted this in the Star Alliance forum.

In any event, you must always check in with the operating carrier (TN in your case). And it appears that TN Business Class passengers get access to the Star Alliance lounge in the Bradley International terminal at LAX:

("Full-Service Lounges")

By the way, since you indicated in another thread that you hold the Amex Platinum card, you would also have access to the Amex Centurion Lounge in the Bradley terminal at LAX.

I did not know that. Thanks!

Star Alliance lounge, with a nice outdoor terrace, would generally be preferred to the Centurion dungeon.

Just flew TN business yesterday on AS miles. Use *A lounge.
I have been to AMEX lounge in the past for other things and agree it is far inferior.

Gate for TN was 208 which is a good 10-15 minutes from lounges.
Left at 9:30pm- had to get a TN BP at gate (as had an AS BP) and boarded less than 5 minutes later. Flt scheduled 1045pm.

Why no access for the OP?

The OP is not flying AA; this is an AAdvantage mileage redemption on TN. And TN Business Class passengers get Star Alliance lounge access at LAX. (See Post #2.)

OP here...part of the reason for my confusion was this review I read: https://www.insidetheupgrade.com/pos...s-class-review

Unfortunately, the internet is filled with misinformation and errors...I don't feel like running around LAX trying to find the right lounge!

That post is concerning. When checking in at the TN desk, I would ask about lounge access, and whether TN provides a printed lounge-invitation card.

If worse comes to worst, you do, as previously noted, have access to the Amex Centurion lounge as an Amex Platinum cardholder.

That's pretty weak - shades of the old LX F rules at ZRH, where they wouldn't let you in on a UA ticket.

Fwiw, the Amex lounge is in the same general vicinity as the *A lounge.
