EVA awards + purchase
United flyer here. I can find 2 business tickets on Eva for LAX > SFO next year at a good deal, but I need 3 tickets so I would be willing to buy the 3rd ticket as long as I get mileage/PQP credit for UA. But of course, when searching using money payment, the EVA flight does not show on the United site. I know that mileage credit or PQP depends on 016 stock or not, etc.
Anyone have experience doing something like this, or any advice? EDIT: If this is the wrong forum, please move. |
EVA for LAX to SFO? Via TPE? You're very unlikely to be able to buy this with money; airlines file fares between city pairs and these fares have rules, like maximum amounts of back tracking or bans on extra circuitous routings. These rules don't apply to award tickets.
