LAX - TBIT Star Alliance Lounges open now

Iím flying on Turkish Airlines in two weeks and wonder if there are any Star Alliance lounges open in TBIT? I normally fly Skyteam and know the Delta lounge is open but StarAlliance is new to me. If the Star Alliance lounges arenít open are any of the lounges open in TBIT?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

The *A lounge in TBIT is closed but the United Club is open in T7 and you will have access if *G or flying J on TK. The Korean lounge in TBIT is part of Priority Pass but also seems to be closed.

To use the United Club, it's a 15-minute walk each way from TBIT to T7. I was just there a few days ago, there's basically no food except for packaged snacks but it's a really nice physical space if you need to get some work done.

To be fair the LAX club actually had upgraded catering with real food such as tacos and noodles for lunch/dinner.

But for the rest yes.

There's no way I would go to the UC in T7 right now prior to a flight from TBIT. It's just not worth it. The food and drink offerings are dismal.

Closed. No indication it will be opening any time soon.

On Jul12 most lounges at TB seem to be closed (true for sure for OW and Star). Most of the eateries are also closed. Long lines in front of the few others. Better eat before you go to the airport. Most shops are open. Also seems that flights to Europe are filling up. My LH flight to FRA was almost completely full (on a 748)

I am sure others will make it there sooner, but I am on a Swiss flight August 30th and will report back!

As for service, I imagine that it's probably mostly pre-packaged food and bar-served drinks for the time-being?

Exciting yet fearful based on the horribly unsanitary behavior of many of the customers - very curious to know how they plan on mitigating this problem once they re-open.

Itís Open!

I was the first one in the lounge today as it reopened (08/12). Had the entire to place to myself but barely a dozen other guests by the time I left. There were hot and cold food selections. Primarily breakfast items while I was there. Most of it the food and beverages were self-serve including pour-yourself wines and champagne on ice. The bar was open and a few prepackaged snacks like cereals were available. Great to be back in my favorite lounge.

I took some pics but Iím new on this site so it wouldnít let me upload any.
