How much miles do I earn? Booked LH, flying SQ

Hi all,

This year I have several flight wilh Star Alliance flights.
I used several miles calculators and it seems that Asiana or Agean are the most interesting programs.

Now it is not clear to me which airline I need to add in the calculators. For example I have booked flights from BRU to DPS via FRA/SIN. First leg is LH, second and third leg are SQ.
Flight BRU-FRA is LH flight number; Flight FRA-SIN is LH flight number (operated by SQ) and Flight SIN-DPS is SQ flight number. All has been booked through LH.
The question I have is which Airlines do I need to add in the miles calculator? For the second leg FRA-SIN is it LH or SQ?

I did a 2 calculations as follows based on the booking classes:
  • Calculation 1 (Agean: 12772 // Asiana: 14550)
    • BRU-FRA (T) - Lufthansa
    • FRA-SIN (T) - Singapore Airlines
    • SIN-DPS (N) - Singapore Airlines
    • SIN-FRA (T) - Singapore Airlines
    • FRA-BRU (T) - Lufthansa
  • Calculation 2 (Agean: 0 // Asiana: 6886)
    • BRU-FRA (T) - Lufthansa
    • FRA-SIN (T) - Lufthansa
    • SIN-DPS (N) - Singapore Airlines
    • SIN-FRA (T) - Lufthansa
    • FRA-BRU (T) - Lufthansa
Used calculator: WhereToCredit

As you can see it is a big difference. So which one is correct?

Thanks!

There are many booking classes where Lufthansa credit nothing to Aegean so both are probably right.

Thanks! In fact the main question is if I need to use Singapore or Lufthansa for the FRA-SIN-FRA leg? Flights booked through Lufthansa's website, operated by Singapore Airlines but both have LH flight number. So I do not know which one I need to use.

*A flights are credited by the operating carrier so who you book with doesn't matter. You will earn if you fly Singapore but not Lufthansa.

Programs: SQ LPPS, A3 *G, BA Silver - renewed on only four sectors and no other OW flying, is BA desperate?.

I will add a caution to this, what is T on a Lufthansa fare may not map to T on Singapore Airlines. If it does you are in luck on mileage earning but it may map to a class that awards nothing and Singapore has plenty of them in economy. I guess with Singapore you might earn, with Lufthansa you certainly won't.

*A goes by metal (operating carrier) and code shares (marketing carrier) are irrelevant, so (according to your description) Calculation 1 is correct, since FRA-SIN is on SQ metal.

All the SQ segments will be in N-class ... so not too many options. https://www.wheretocredit.com/singapore-airlines/n

I suggest that you take a look here - it is pretty clear
https://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbon...nes/#Lufthansa
https://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbon...apore_Airlines

I presume something similar is available for OZ as well.
