*G benefits on Air Tahiti Nui op by NZ

Hi everyone,

Do I receive *G benefits and miles (TK) on a codeshare flight of Air Tahiti Nui operated by Air New Zealand?

Thank you very much.

Ben

I know that (in general) the operating airline counts within *A but I am unsure about the situation that Air Tahiti Nui is not a member and what a booking class mapping will result in. Does anyone have any experience in this regard?

Thank you very much for sharing this link. But the flight is not operated by Air Tahiti Nui - it is operated by NZ and a code share flight of Air Tahiti Nui.

You should receive lounge access and miles if the flight is operated by NZ.

Full *G benefits will apply.

Accrual depends on the fare class. Not the TN fare class, but the corresponding NZ one. You will have to ask TN for the mapped NZ fare class then check that against your TK programme accrual rates. Rule of thumb with NZís Tasman and pacific flights is unless itís in biz or almost full-fare Y itís a big fat zero when accrued to another programme.

Thank you very much.

I will book Y+ and let you know details about the credit.

Y+ should be fine in terms of crediting to the other programmes. More likely than not it's going to map to A class of NZ, which credit to most (if not all) *A programmes.
