Crediting Star Alliance flight to non-Star Alliance program
Does anyone know if it's possible to credit a Star Alliance-operated flight under non-Star Alliance codeshares?
I know that Star Alliance credits by the operating carrier, and the fare classes are mapped under agreements that are not public, and that the "marketing carrier" does not matter when credited to a Star Alliance program.
However, does this still apply for non-Star Alliance programs?
E.g. Does a NH-operated flight that is EY-marketed credit to UA?
What about crediting to a non-Star Alliance program such as PR?
