Group discount on 8 Js?
 

I will be booking 8 seats in J for next August, JFK/EWR-KBP. Was hoping to redeem miles, but LOT has it at around $2K pp, hard to beat.
So I may be paying cash. So any *A airlines offer group discounts for 8 seats? Or is it 10 min, and with the tickets discounted so deeply, can't ask for any more discounts?

UA does not do one off discounts. It also won't do group bookings for <10 people. The benefits of a group booking are typically more focused on flexibility, e.g. the ability to substitute passengers than on discounts.

If LO is providing you the best price, that is what I would book. Do bear in mind that next August is so far in the future that the better discounts, e.g. lower J fare bucks will not likely open up before April-May 2020. Thus, you are paying top dollar right now.

With current pricing at a hair above $2K, will there be even deeper discounts? I am not familiar with that route, but I would think $2K for a summer TATL J is as low it gets, no?

You should also book the tickets one at a time. If you book 8, you will receive the lowest fare bucket which has 8J. Try running the same search for 1 seat and see what you get.
