United and Star Alliance RTW tickets
 

Anyone know if United has deliberately scaled back its involvement in the Star Alliance Round The World ticket program? Not a single trans-Atlantic United flight is coming up after multiple tests of the booking tool over the last week. All flights from the East Coast to Europe are offered through Air Canada via Toronto or Montreal. This was not the case earlier this year - I had no trouble securing seats on United trans-Atlantic flights on three separate RTW itineraries. Just wondering if it's a formal policy change, or just a bit of temporary bad luck.

Sounds as if it's just a case of the booking class not being available. What booking class does your ticket book into? (you don't mention if it's a Y or C RTW). Go to United.com in advanced mode and check the flights yourself, I'd expect the relevant booking class isn't open on the flights you're checking.
