What Program to Book TG Flights Now That UA Does Not

Looking to book a mileage ticket in F on TG from BKK to TYO connecting to NH to the States.

UA is no longer booking TG flights so I need to use another program.

I would be transferring AmEx, Chase or Marriott points to the program to make the booking.

Which program can I transfer to that would give me the best redemption rate on such a ticket?

Thx.

One way or RT? If RT, NH is your best option, transferring either Amex or Marriott points.

If one-way, they're basically all the same. AP, AV, or SQ. AV does not assess fuel surcharges, AP does. SQ does not always offer the same award inventory as AP or AV.

Thanks. It's just one-way.

AV is actually a little cheaper in miles than AP (50k v. 65k).

Glad I asked. Thanks again for the help.

Looks like 48,130 in F and US$63.88.

That is a whole lot better than I could have done on UA (if they were still booking TG award seats).

Oh, I see they price each segment so it is higher. I'll have to play with it some more.

98,000 for both segments (BKK-TYO-LAX) and $63.88. A bit pricey, but I can live with that.

That would be 130k UA miles, so a nice deal.

That's a great deal from AV for F, I wouldn't balk at that at all. LOL. UA is downright extortionist for partner F these days.

No TG at all bookings using MP points? Or did you mean that only F is not available?

TG and TP flights are back again with UA, SQ remains blocked.
