FRA-MEX on Star Alliance in Business or First
Hi,
I am trying to book a MEX-FRA business, or possibly first class, non-stop, for December 2018/Jan 2019, and even with a departure on Dec 26, I cannot find a better deal than $3.8K per PAX in Business, which I find a little steep. I have tried a few aggregators, but no one either had a decent pricing, or had a deal at all (many asked for more than Lufthansa, which is the only airline (LH459) that does that route non-stop. Anybody can direct me toward a sensible solution? Cheers, CB |
As this is a *A question, will move to the *A forum
However, will add that $3K+ airfare does not seem too unusual and is generally better than West Coast USA - Europe business class fares. What would you consider considerable? You may also want to look at Premium Fare Deals WineCountryUA UA coModerator BTW, multiple posting the same query in multiple forum is not allowed on FT |
The OP has cross posted in at least 3 forums now.

Or find a cheaper fare from the USA and connect along the way. Though that comes with some risks around separate tickets. |
In general, I've found premium cabin tickets to Europe are cheaper from MEX than any US or Canadian city. |
I see round trip on Avianca for USD 3010.00

A sensible solution for you would be to start your trip in AMS rather than FRA. If necessary, get a positioning flight on the day prior and then a flight AMS-FRA that arrives within 23:59h of your flight to MEX.
