Connection Time BRU
I am looking at flying from CPH to EWR via BRU. The CPH-BRU is on Brussels and the BRU-EWR leg is UA. Is 1:20 enough time between flights since the transfer is within the Schengen Zone?
1:20 should be more than enough, especially from within shengen. BRU isn't that large.
yes, it should be enough. I did a TLS-BRU-IAD recently with a connection time just under an hour without any problems. The only note of caution is that if your incoming flight is delayed, you will have some anxious moments. BRU is small and connections are rather easy.
You're going from Schengen to non-Schengen so you'll need to clear immigration at BRU. Not a problem, and the 1:20 should be plenty of time but consider that in your planning.
Yes. Oddly it would be faster coming from a non-Schengen country as you can usually side-step off the ramp to a very under-used non-Schengen tributary, where you emerge directly into the non-Schengen departures lounge (unless you are on a bus gate).
