*B ?
Recently, I had UA*B printed on my boarding pass (issued by SK). This is the first time I've seen *B. Is it new or was it a misprint, and, why didn't it say *G. I'm 1P with UA.

I have never seen *B before so my guess is some kind of missprint.

suggestions (in a humourous spirit):
UA*B - Bankrupt UA*B - brilliant UA*B - another UA bozo! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif ------------------ RichardMEL, UA 1K A Star Alliance Member. |

In the NZ system, *B means 'Basic' member - in other words a no status member.
My guess would be either it's an old PNR that had your FF number in it before you became an Elite member, or the SK link to the FFP database was down at the time your boarding pass was issued. ------------------ All my posts are my own personal opinions and experiences and in no way represent the opinon of my employer. |
I also had *B on a UA boarding pass issued by SK a couple of days ago. The funny thing is when I was rebooked to CO(due to overbooking) I still had *B on the CO boarding pass http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
