Any *A carriers offer OW awards?

Hi,

I'm looking for a *A carrier whose program offers north american awards, with 'one way' options, ie 7,500 points for a trip v. 15,000 points, etc....

If it isn't star alliance, do people know any others? ie delta, north west, alaskan? etc?

the only ff-program that I know (but I am far from knowing all of them) offeringone-way awards is KLM Flying Dutchman program (good on NW and CO flights too). In fact, Flying Dutchman only offers one-way awards (no rebate for returns).

Qualiflyer: One-way Free Tickets are available at 75% of the round-trip mileage price.

SkyMiles: Awards are for round-trip or one-way travel. If used one-way, no residual mileage credit is applicable.

AC Aeroplan offers one way rewards as of April? of this year. See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/005632.html

They are still not widely known or publicized. You do take a bit of a hit, e.g. 10,000 miles for one-way short haul
15,000 miles for one-way long haul N. American econo

Most appear unaware of this - I was until today, so was PremEx, but United offers 1K's one-way awards on UA metal at half the round trip sum it seems.

I don't think (reading the detailed posted rules) that this is something you can count on.

It seems that, until now (may be no longer available at all now?), this has been in the hands of Supervisors (level 4) and 1K personnel (no longer there now) only, to decide/grant or deny (we all should have been on our knees all the time when meeting 1K-personnel at IAD ... )

Rudi .... yes who knows if this will be "enhanced" too?

However, reading it the '1K Desk" (i.e. phone desk) is what they are referring to I think, (which right NOW still exsits!) and Level 4 CS/Rez employees, who I think are the supervisor types, and numerous.

17NO/ - THIS PROFILE IS INTENDED FOR USE BY UA LEVEL 4
18NO/ EMPOWERED EMPLOYEES AND THE 1K DESK ONLY.
19NO/ - THIS OPTION IS TO BE USED FOR 1K TRAVELERS AND THEIR
20NO/ TRAVELING COMPANIONS.

BD’s diamond club: On *A operated flights, one way journeys will be charged at half the number of destinations miles a round trip required.
