Since this is an international ticket a stopover is when you stay MORE then 24hours in one city.

You could fly DEN-COS-DEN-COS-DEN and stay in COS 23hours and 59 minutes each time.

I believe Rudi also have mention that you can stay until next avialable flight and that doesnt count as a stopover either. To some places only one flight per week and that wouldnt count as a stopover.

So on an international ticket, stopover is 24 hours even within N.A.?
