Here's a challenge for you

OK guys and gals, I've got a challenge for you. I need to take 10 segments flying MEL-NYC through Asia and Europe. Ive got MEL-SIN on SQ, SIN-BKK-SIN on TG, SIN to possibly ZRH (doesnt have to be) on SQ. With stops in Milan and Paris (either order) and then on to London and NY, i need an itin with the least miles as well as no long connections (i.e 2+ hours).

i thought about zrh-vie-muc-mxp-muc-cdg-lhr-jfk. I'd have to use at least 4 segments on either LH, OS or SK (max 2 would count for promo on any one), then BD from either CDG or MXP, and UA to JFK.

any ideas?

thanks
goodo

why don't you challenge your travel agent instead?

You could shorten it by going SIN-KUL-SIN

Try using the Star Alliance Electronic Timetable...

I find it very useful in searching out possible itineraries.

IN asia, try:

BKK-NAK-BKK (tg) and all the other TG domestic

SIN-CGK-SIN (lh), (tg)

SIN-KUL-SIN (sq)

BKK-KUL-BKK (tg)

BKK-SIN-BKK (sk)

You could do some short legs & quick turnarounds using LHR-MAN-LHR on BD.
