Business Class on Austrian Airlines

Hi,

can anybody tell me their experiences (good or bad) of Austrian Airlines business class. I have loads of FF miles to spend from my BD card and spending them with Austrian Airlines is significantly cheaper than some of the other partners. So where's the catch?

Long haul or short Mr Elvin. On long haul they are as good if not better than VS in J. But without the bed obviously.

Thanks Jon,
It would be long haul and I can get to Australia from Vienna for similar points to using LH from FRA to LAX

LAUDA AIR is currently 'different' from AUSTRIAN airlines. At least their products are different. If you're flying to Oz, you'll be on Lauda Air metal.

They excel in the catering department! See trip reports for Lauda's service.

I flew OS YYZ-VIE in Grand Class last year. They are not offering this service this year. I found the service (in terms of food) was excellent and the seats very comfortable. It was an a330 or a340.

LAUDA AIR BUSINESS CLASS IS GROSS ON THE 767 AND 777 C CLASS IS SO CROWDED THAT YOU CAN BARELY BREATH. DON'T FLY IT GO SQ OR LH.

actually, service to Toronto resumes May 2, 3 times per week. AFAIK it is operated by Lauda. I'm booked for the May 2 flight, we'll see how it goes...
