Any update on ThaiAirways leaving *?

I'm planning on doing some major segment runs
on Thai Airways next month and had read in other threads the possibility of them leaving *. Anyone have any current info about this exit and will it be effective by
by November 17, 2000 which is when I expect to complete my travels.

Thanks again.

Thank you Dorian and Rudi. I bought 3 tickets yesterday (wife, kid, and I) for SFO-BKK on UA and plan to be in Thailand for 2 weeks doing segment runs on ThaiAir, hopefully making 1k by the return flight for all 3. I appreciate your responses, and especially reading your posts on other topics.

crankyusi: inner Thailand flights on TG in business class earn full (100%) status mileage in UA's Mileage Plus program - and the price difference eco-business is small. Always ask, before booking, what the same flight in business class would cost.
