*A Electronic Timetable ??

Why doest Star publish an electronic timetable of all carriers..??? This would be great for those of us that do RWSTAR flights.

if it's really all star airlines, all flights...i think the file would be really huge...i think the united one alone is ~ 2 MB already ??

I'll second this idea...it's run across my mind several times recently. It seems like a logical next step to bring this massive alliance altogether. This is one of the primary reasons that the alliance exists (from the consumer's perspective at least), isn't it? Coordinating flights amongst the alliance members to maximize the rewards?

It's not quite what you're looking for but at www.staralliance.com you can use the "My Travel Manager" feature to "Book a Flight - Purchase airline tickets for any destination covered by the Star Alliance network..." I've used this occasionally to plan RTW itineraries.

Thanks for the tip, Transpac, I will check it out. The usual problem I have with most of whats available is that after 6-7 flights, the itinerary cannot be expanded further and I find myself still half way into my trip... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

It seems to be available on the website. I looks good!

Just download at their webpage. Think you have to click on the "timetable", and then you have some chooses if you want to download on you PC, Wap and so on.
They made a very good job.
Have not seen it on other alliances. Some funny connections are shown (but they are real) and is don't shows the not * members.
E.g. I found a route Copenhagen-Havana via Madrid and Spanair (in connection with SAS and codeshared, in SAS downloaded timetable, who were not in Startimtabble, because Spanair is not a part of Star.

The star electronic timetable definately exists and is pretty good. I have it on my PC at home. Although I sill use itn to see availabilities of course, and any minor changes that our beloved carriers make won't be updated on the downloadable timetable until the next one is run and downloaded.. but still it is decent enough.
