This offer entitles any passenger purchasing one business class ticket (C class only) with British Midland from London Heathrow to Rome, Milan, Madrid or Barcelona to an additional free business class ticket. Passengers are required to pay any applicable taxes, duties, fees and charges for travel. The total figure for taxes, duties, fees and charges as at 9 October 2000 is for Rome, £24.00, Milan £24.00, Madrid £21.70 and Barcelona £21.70. Tickets will be dispatched together. Both parties must travel on the same flight for the outbound and inbound journey. Tickets must be purchased between 23 October 2000 and 15 December 2000. All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. If the chosen flight is full, and if requested by the travellers, British Midland will endeavour to book both claimants travelling together onto another British Midland flight to the same destination, subject to availability within the promotional period. Free flights are valid for travel up to 28 February 2001. Diamond Club Destinations points will not be accrued on free flights. Does not say BOTH get points but assume so?

This fits in with a plan I have with a friend to fly late Feb to MILAN.

Anyone got any idea what a lowball price is for the single C class will run?

No the small print says flight does not qualify for diamond points - does say anything about LH M&M though - checking to see if my company route deal will qualify.
