found some dates ....
HI People.
I've just heard that I've got to go to Singapore again in mid-april and so I took off trying to find some hints of when SQ is joining *A officially as I DO want status miles this time. So , I found some dates in VARIG's website in Germany. Check it up and see if they make sense http://www.varig.de/anfang.htm (go to the Star Alliance link on the left) . They also give dates to Mexicana, BM and Austrian (the last we already knew about it). Cheers Mauricio ps: The site is in German ... but the actual text seems very general. as mentioned in the other thread - SQ officially joins on 1 April (according to their inflight magazine)

Well, since I have to go to China in April, my travel plans just became a no-brainer--AC/SQ RTW with a HKG-CTU-HKG side trip tacked on.
It is cheaper than a *A RTW, and has no minimum stay requirement. However, with no backtracking I cannot do LHR-YUL-NYC, so I will have to suffer accross the atlantic with SQ from FRA or AMS. Ah, the lengths I have to go to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif |
