COPA Airlines - Amex Redemption to Cuba

I'm trying to book an award flight from LAX-HAV via PTY. There is plenty of availability on the COPA award search tool for just 15k miles and $40 tax.

However - I can't find any way to use my Amex membership rewards miles for this. They can be used on the following programmes:

* Aeroplan
* United
* Flying blue
* ANA

Aeroplan/United seemed like the best bet but doesn't allow itineraries to Cuba. ANA errors. Flying Blue only brings back 60k+ mile tickets. Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

If those are your only transfer options, it looks like you're out of luck.

Do any Star Alliance airlines allow points transfers between them? SAS is also an option apparently. Does look like I'm out of luck :(

Try http://www.webflyer.com/programs/mileage_converter/. It doesn't have all the possiblities, but it's often a good start.

Not in a manner that is useful.

Is SQ not an option? And which AmEx MR program allows transfer to UA?

Also, the issue may be that most airlines still will not issue a single ticket from the US to Cuba given the regulatory environment; you might have to split the trip.
