I've been booking trips on Lufthansa (revenue, usually business (J) fares) and am considering booking a few trips on Singapore (also revenue, in business).

Dumb question: Do the KrisFlyer points go to M&M account?

Best way to consolidate / use accrued miles in the case of both airlines belonging to the same alliance?

Can you just use Kris miles to book award M&M tickets and vice-versa?

If that's the FF# you attach to your ticket, yes.

You can use the miles to book on any Star Alliance carrier assuming that carrier has opened up award inventory to the alliance.

Not quite - you will not get Kris Flyer miles, you will get M&M miles for flying SQ. The miles M&M gives for any given SQ flight may or may not be the same as SQ would give to a Kris Flyer member.

You can use Kris Flyer miles ( in a Kris Flyer account) to book a LH/LX flight.
You can use M&M miles, in an M&M account, to book a SQ flight.
