Advice on which *A airline to credit 12k miles

Hey guys,

I'll be traveling 12k miles with Copa. I travel a lot, but not on star alliance. So this will probably be my only *A flight in the next years.

Does anyone know if any *A airline allows mile transfer to Le Club Accor Hotels (even with a devaluation)? I know that it's possible to transfer 2 TAM points to 1 Le Club, but TAM is not *A anymore.

If I can't transfer to Le Club, where do you guys think I should credit these 12k miles so that these miles don't become useless?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I wish they'd let him just transfer them to me! From the sounds of the Aegean program that's your best bet, but if you're not flying with them, even putting them towards any kind of hotel program probably will get you very little.

Why Aegean? I know one can become *a gold with 20k with Aegean, but I know I won't be able to take another flight with *a within a year, so my goal is to make the best use of these 12k miles I'll be flying.

Airlines ffp have alliance and non alliance partners. You may not need to collect in a Star airline ffp

COPA looks to use UA Mileplus so can use miles on these

Earning and burning is often reciprocal. Look at these airlines and check if COPA earns

Thanks guys, I'll go with Aegean, as I'll get 1k bonus for signing up, so I will have 13k after my flight and therefore I'll be able to redeem for a 12,5k flight. Awesome! Thanks!
