Accessing TBIT *A Lounge from T7/T8 at LAX

Plan on at least 15-20 minutes walking each way.

Rules say: Only if *G, and then only one guest per *G.

Business arrival is not relevant for *A lounge access.

Yes.. this is what I thought.. This is a real shame for United then as there are zero options for showering at LAX coming in from Asia/Australia at the moment.

But if you're UA Plat that will get you +1 access.

But since the itinerary is international, that's why class of service qualifies.

But the question is does the Arriving class matter?
This site:

Says NO.. must be departing.

An international arrival does not qualify for *A lounge access. *A lounge access is always based on a departure. The domestic F departure does not qualify for lounge access unless the pax is *G.

Since OP will be arriving at TBIT, they could always give it a try. The lounge is empty that early and the agents are pretty nice.

Do you know what outbound flight/s to track to see opening times? I have an early lay over inbound from MEL and outbound to CUN and have had success before but would dearly love to know for sure I will be having a shower..

SQ11 LAX-NRT-SIN, I think it's the earliest * flight from LAX. Currently at 9AM so I'd expect it to open at 7am or earlier.

Last time I went at 7am I saw the UA99 (MEL-LAX) pull up to the gate at TBIT.
