Can I use United Club passes to access *A lounge (LAX TBIT specifically)
 
Flying LAX-TPE in C in November. We have a few other friends flying with us in Y and I have United Club passes I got from my MileagePlus Explorer card. Does anybody know if I can use these passes to get them access to *A lounge at TBIT?

It will only work at any united club in the world but not honored by star alliance.

No, I just remarked that it is fair that you cannot use those anywhere else than UA lounges...You seemed disappointed...

Oh, it's not that big of a deal to me. I'll have access to *A lounge for that trip anyways (flying in C). My friends can go hang out at Daily Grill or something.
