Connection and Baggage Check
 

Hi,
We got the following flight itinerary by using our United miles.

From EWR to ZRH on Swiss Air
90 minutes
From ZRH to BKK on Thai Airways
90 mintues
From BKK to HKT on Thai Airways


So my questions are:

1) Since all flights are part of the Star Alliance, will our checked in baggage be checked-thru all the way to Phuket? Or do we have to claim them in ZRH and re-check them?

2) If we have to claim and re-check baggage, is 90 minutes enough time between connecting flights doable?

Yes. You should be fine. As you're on one PNR (reservation) LX should check your bags through to their final destination. And 90 mins will be plenty of time to connect at ZRH.
