No, I have not booked the connection (so yes that will be on a separate ticket) but am arriving on EY (flexible tix). This has all been precipitated by the UAE closing all airspace/transportation to/from DOH & my tix next week AUH-DOH-LHR being extremely unlikely to happen (although they may re-book me I do need backup!). Chances are I will book a separate connection a little later on with SWISS ;) |

I don't think I understand. If you have an EY ticket to LHR, why not just get them to rebook you (on one ticket). That's much better than creating your own agenda on two tickets. And, not to belabour the semantics, two tickets, no matter how much time you leave between them, do not constitute a connection.

Since I can't figure which forum in which to place the following question, I'll ask here. I'd appreciate any guidance.
I'm planning on a ticket from LIS-KRK and the variety of flight times requires me to use EasyJet, which does not offer connecting flights (apparently - it says I must purchase two tickets). I would have 85 minutes in GVA and I realize that is conditional on the incoming flight being on time. So, US passport, all Schengen flights, and we will not have any checked baggage - carryon only! What does that look like at GVA? Specifically, will the lack of checked bags allow me to stay airside? I would plan to have a printed/digital boarding pass from checking in earlier in the day. The cost is not a big issue as they are cheap easyjet flights, but I'd just like to know what to expect. Thank you for any guidance! |

No problem.
You will have checked in online. Follow transit signs. Expect to have security line. then to departure gate.

Hi,
I have the following connection in Tivat to GVA, arrive 18:00, GVA to BCN leaving 18:50. I do not have checked in luggage.I know I may miss it, in which case I will leave the day after, but do you have any tips on what to do to maximize my chances? Am I going to get out of a bus? Is there an option not to go through security? |
With separate tickets that seems awfully risky to me, but if you are willing to pay for a new ticket and a hotel room then you’ll be fine. |
I have already tickets for the day after,so if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. I just was looking into suggestion, or whatever is that I would be to expect, or if I have any chance whatsover

No one can say for sure. I think you are cutting it very close, but you may get lucky on the day!
