Need to send a friend from RT AUS-JNB End of May-Early July

Not available on return using OW, so looking at option #2 AMEX MR.

SAA site is having issues, so I am asking here.

Which program should I transfer miles into? How many miles RT coach?
How is availability? What about YQs? I assume this is peak times?

Anything else I should know or ask?
