LX F via PEK (high YQ) or OZ C via ICN (low YQ)
Is LX F on the 340-300 worth an extra £190 over OZ C (B777)?
I have two options:
CA F, overnight in PEK, followed by LX F PEK to ZRH (then LX C ZRH - LHR).*
or
OZ C, overnight in ICN followed by OZ C ICN - LHR
YQ on OZ appears to be a mere £40, so the cost difference will be £190 GBP and half as many miles.
I'm trying LX F on the outbound, but wondering if the difference is worth the extra cost for the inbound. I've not flown F before, and I don't drink champagne...will it be worth it?
*Checking availability I can't seem to find any direct ZRH-LHR just now, so unless availability comes along, it may be moot, but still useful to know in case seats do become available when I'll need to act fast

well considering its BD miles - I would probably spend extra for LX F if there was a direct ZRH-LHR/LCY flight available afterwards.
Although at $300 savings + half the miles... its a tough call.
