Valid Routing SYD-LBA

Wondered what the consensus would be on the following routing:

2 x o/w awards with UA

SYD-BKK-LHR (stopover) - BRU - LBA
LBA-BRU-LHR (stopover) - ICN - SYD

Star Alliance website lists LBA-ICN as a valid route through BRU & LHR, but not the BKK route.

I know LHR-EDI-LBA would be an option but it's not available, and I'd rather not fly to MAN as that lengthens my journey by road quite a bit.

Any insight much appreciated. Will this be a valid routing?

Damn. Moot point anyway. No stop overs on O/W fares. Only on return.
