BCN - SIN Options

I need to buy 2 tkts from BCN to SIN and wanted some expert advise from this board with regards to the various pricing options but that we also need to accumulate mileage(AC). ANy help will be great with regards to routing and the best pricing. Dates as follows: Dep BCN Jul 6 and DEP SIN Jul 16, must arrive in BCN JUL 17 by 10am latest to connect to the 12 noon AC flight that leaves for YYZ.

Hi there, you might get more helpful answers if you post what you found so far. I assume the omission of class means you want Y seats.

The SQ route from BCN looks good, as mentioned in here. That direct fare seems to book into Q and M.

The best route is with SQ but we don't mind Austrian or Swissair. Yes the seats are in Y. What is the usual fare range for this route? We are 2.

Unfortunately, Austrian and Swiss no longer fly to SIN. The best route is still by SQ. You may wanna consider LH via MUC?

Swiss codeshare with SQ on ZRH-SIN, and it's the A380, which may be a consideration, but coming back you won't make Barcelona before Noon if you go with the direct SIN-ZRH Flight, though swiss.com suggests a codeshare Flight SIN-BKK (again with SQ), connecting to the Overnight LX BKK-ZRH which should get you to Barcelona on the morning Flight ex-ZRH for 9am - a 1 hour 10 layover in Zurich, but if you're delayed from BKK the next Flight from Zurich isn't until 12:20pm...

€1150 per person, and books into Buckets U and V (both of which on the LX operated Flights at least earn 100% on Aeroplan) - not sure what actual bucket it books you into on SQ, though, but again U on SQ earns 100% on Aeroplan (V earns nothing, but looks like it's just the SIN-BKK leg).

LH via MUC isn't an option coming back at least, as there's no Sunday morning MUC-BCN Flight (which is a JK Codeshare, anyway). Only way to arrive before 10 with Lufthansa is via Frankfurt, which would mean a 744, so that's probably a no-no, too (no personal TV in Y etc etc)

I wanted to intro TK but it doesn't fit your 'arrived by latest 10am at BCN' criteria

If you do fly SQ (and it looks like that will probably be your best option given how early you need to be back at BCN), do keep in mind that their lowest fares are non-mileage-earning on all FFPs including their own KrisFlyer. The website does clearly state this on booking, but it's easy to overlook the message.

I was looking at the TK option but the return timing is not good. I do appreciate all you input and will have to ensure to get the best price. I mean I wish I could do J but for 2 of us it will be costly. JK is also codesharing with SQ, how do I know that JK's are mileage earning?
I actually prefer Swiss, Austrian or LH.
