Quickest way to get miles to use ANA tool

Has there been a breakthrough in the quickest/easiest/cheapest way to get miles in to an ANA account so I can use the tool? Have a trip planned with US soon and was thinking about crediting the miles to ANA. How long does that take to show credit? Is there another way that doesn’t include flights?

There are still a couple effective workarounds that will permit you to use the website without any miles in your account. I checked a flight just this morning and I'm at 0 in my account.

http://boardingarea.com/blogs/thewan...earch-problem/ has one of the approaches that still works.

If you have Amex MR or SPG, transfer 1000 miles into ANA. I was willing to spend the $25 equivalent to have continuous access to this useful tool without workarounds.

You don't need any miles to use the AC awards search engine. With my very limited sample space, the AC results match the ANA results.

Good solution also, especially if it's a short hop, i.e., few miles.

You can earn points for car rentals and credit them to ANA as well.
