*A RTW - is this a permitted routing?
Hi
Getting ready to book my 2nd *A RTW...but the first one was like 6 years ago. So basically a newbie.
I remember hearing that backtracking is not permitted, so I'm wondering if this routing is OK?
Vancouver - Frankfurt - Athens - London Heathrow - Narita - Vancouver
The part I'm worried about is the European legs. Is Athens -> London considered backtracking?
Thanks!

I would go the *A website and see if it works out.
If something is not allowed it will show you.
particularly things like last international flight has to start 10 days after
1st, and minimum stopovers.

This is how your routing looks like:

Of course this is permitted. The only issue is that you are leaving a lot of miles wasted. A normal RTW can do 29,000 miles, (26k for the Y special) but you are only using 18k. So there are a lot more places you could fit into your itinerary. Ever wanted to go to New Zealand? Hawaii? Guam? Spain?
