Booking *RTW...
Hi everyone
Well I'm thinking of booking my first *RTW in over 5 years, in C class. I would be travelling either ex-NRT or ex-ICN or ex-YVR...whichever is cheapest as all three starting points are easy for me. Is there an updated spreadsheet with RTW fares from different departure cities? Next question - do I need a travel agent in the country of first departure to sell me the ticket? Or can my Canadian travel agent sell me a ticket ex-ICN let's say at the Korean price? And finally - any recommendations for travel agents in Seoul? (I'm assuming ICN is still cheapest...) Thanks! Have a look at this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/star-...il-2010-a.html
And you can use any TA to book the trip no need to have a local one. Just be aware that ticketing on different airlines can make hundreds of $$ difference in fuel surcharges. |
NRT and ICN will both be much cheaper than YVR. I start from either, the difference is
usually not too large, and currency swings can make either cheaper on any given day. Your Canadian agent can sell it to you no matter where you start, no need for a Korean agent. |
Thanks
Thanks everyone!
