$50 Spirit vouchers
My recent flight was delayed 5 hours because were waiting for the captain to arrive. Spirit sent an "apology" email and gave us $50 vouchers for each passenger in our booking.
The vouchers expire after 2 months so that's a pretty useless voucher to keep if you don't plan on making another reservation with them so soon (which I don't), so I'm looking to resell them online.
I read the terms (quoted below) and I don't see any language that prevents me from reselling them. I also don't see if one can use multiple vouchers for a single reservation.
Has anyone such experience from those vouchers? Can they be used by others or are they restricted to the passenger issued to? Also can they be combined in a reservation?

The voucher must be booked before the expiration date(s) above for travel on any flight dates available on spirit.com (when applicable) or through reservations. The voucher expiration date cannot be extended or changed and does not cover taxes and optional services. The voucher is applicable to the flight-only portion of the base fare and cannot be redeemed for bags and other optional services. Restrictions may apply during peak travel periods, to certain destinations, and to certain classes of service. Vouchers cannot be applied to the following government taxes, fees and carrier optional services: (a) a segment tax of $4.20 per U.S. domestic flight segments (a flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing) of a Customer's itinerary; (b) up to $18.00 for local airport passenger facility charges (c) a September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport; (d) a Passenger Usage Fee of up to $22.99 per segment per traveling customer applies to most reservations excluding bookings completed at Spirit Airlines' airport locations as well as certain bookings to or from Colombia. A lower fee of $8.99 may apply to certain discount fares. International itineraries will be charged the applicable government taxes and fees (including U.S. government excise tax) of up to $180.00 per roundtrip. Additionally, if travel originates in a country outside of the U.S., additional taxes may apply (up to 22% of the applicable fare value per country). NOTE: Government taxes, and fees and carrier optional services are subject to change without notice. For a complete list of carrier optional services, please visit www.spirit.com. Travel does not need to take place before the expiration date, but the voucher must be applied to a new reservation before the expiration date.

No answers but plenty of questions.
I have one of these issued on June 6 that says expiration date Aug 29 - so many blackout periods that it is almost useless (especailly if going to the NJ Teachers Convention!)
Labor Day: 8/31 - 9/5
Columbus Day: 10/5 - 10/10
NJ Teachers Convention: 11/3 - 11/14 (Markets: NYC/NJ to/from Florida/MYR/LAX/Caribbean/Mexico/MSY/PHX/LAS/MSY)
Thanksgiving: 11/15 - 11/29
Christmas: 12/7 - 12/31
On the website it differentiates between a Future Travel Voucher and a Roundtrip Future Travel Voucher. The Ts+Cs don't say that a FTV can only be used for one-way travel but I presume that to be the case since they make the distinction between FTVs and RT FTVs.
It just seems so disingenuous to receive an email apology for a service failure stating:
Only to find it can be used only for the fare, not for any carrier or ancillary fees and that it can only be used on 6 days in December and potentially 4 days in November (August was OK if you weren't on the other side of the world!). It leaves me with the sentiment of why even bother sending these customer service recovery emails
To answer one of the questions above :It can only be used by the Guest it was issued to and is non-transferable
